If you intend on raiding with the guild or the alliance then you will need the following add-ons and programs, wowmatrix is optional although highly recommended. You DO NEED Ventrilo but do not need to speak over Ventrilo. It makes raids far easier if you can listen to the tactics!

| CursedCrusaders has been running for well over 4 years now and is run by a group of real life friends, during our time we have had some very good times and some not so good times, but through good and bad we have endeavoured to continue on. At our peak we had well over 500 members and would regularly have over 50 - 60 members online in an evening. Although the guild was large there was no sense of community, now we have fewer numbers and are a small but friendly guild with a strong sense of community. We are part of an alliance called The Honourbound (THB), consisting of Roses of Dawn, The One, Phoenix Legion, Ye Olde Geezers, and of course, CursedCrusaders, this alliance allows us smaller non-raid specific guilds to venture to areas we would otherwise not be able to access. It also gives us a bigger pool of players to look from when trying to tackle an instance or a difficult quest. |

| The Crusades |

Four years have passed since the mortal races banded together and stood united against the might of the Burning Legion. Though Azeroth was saved, the tenuous pact between the Horde and the Alliannce has all but evaporated.
The Drums of War thunder once again…………………………………….
Beyond the gates of mighty kingdoms lies a vast unexplored world, a world of honour, a world of mystery, a world of danger, a world of darkness. Through the darkness many people struggled to battle the evil forces of the Horde and Azeroth, thousands of men and women fell to these forces, children were slaughtered, villages and towns ransacked and razed. Tens of thousands lost their lives on both sides of the struggle.
In this troubled time small groups of heroes banded together. Standing strong and aiding one another they fought to secure their corner of Azeroth, but still the forces of evil came. Days turned into weeks, weeks into months and years. The tide of evil was relentless.
Villagers and townsfolk would clap as the heroes passed by on their way to yet another battle. Many began calling these battles crusades as they saw holy and righteous friends and family fall against the forces of evil.
Of these many bands of heroes one began to stand out from the rest. Never willing to give up no matter what the odds, always pressing hard at the evil forces and halting their advance. Rumours and whispers spread like wildfire of this mighty band of heroes. Some would say they had more lives than cats, many thought they were immortal, others that they had been blessed by the gods themselves for they rarely lost any in battle and always succeeded.
The band of heroes knew the rumours were not true, they knew that the whispers were wrong, for in their eyes they had not been blessed with immortality, neither did they have more lives than any other. In their eyes they were cursed, for no matter how hard or ferocious they fought still the waves of evil would advance.
“Was there no end to this nightmare!”
They were cursed because they fought and battled to save those whom they loved, yet many times they would return home to find that their efforts were all in vain. The ashes of villages and towns, dead bodies littering the streets would see their efforts almost wasted. Who could call the madness and tragedies a blessing?
Was there no end to the battle? Was there no end to the war? Was there no end to the crusade? This band of heroes was destined to fight, this band of heroes was destined to travel, this band of heroes were the “CursedCrusaders.”

Raid Leader Needed!!

Team Azure has stopped dead in it's tracks and unfortunately we have lost a few guild members due to a lack of raiding. We need someone that is confident enough to lead a raid, give out roles, research tactics, but most of all have the energy and courage to be consistantly inviting members and reminding members through the in game calendar system about raid times and nights, and not to get too disheartened when there is a low turnout or raid cancelled. We had 2 very successful raiding teams within ICC and there is absolutely no reason why we cannot have this again.
You think you got what it takes to lead a successful raid team within ICC then pop a post on the forum for us to see and we will strongly consider all those wishing to undertake the role. |

Raiding.

If you wish to raid with the guild 10 man teams then make sure you let Hugin or Scrypt know as their are the 2 raid leaders. Also make sure you sign up to the relevant raids and if you do sign up try your best to be early with flasks for your relevant role. If you cannot make a raid it is common curtiousy to let the Raid Leader know you are going to be unable to make it. Even if it means sending them an ingame mail, or forum mail.
There is also the opportunity to have 25 man raiding with the THB alliance. They usually raid on a Tuesday and Thursday more information can be obtained from your guild THB Represntatives who are Aelhaern, Moonsugar and Dreadorious. You may need to install GEM to sign up or ask someone that is running GEM to do it for you. Alternatively you can contact Basil/Veilah or Elshiendra as Basil/Veilah normally runs the 25 man raids, and Elsheindra is his partner so can pass any messages on to him.
The Honourbound Alliance (THB) also run their own Ventrilo server so if you do attend raids you will need to log on to their Ventrilo. Their ventrilo details are in the THB section of forum, alternatively you can ask for details when you join the raid.
PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL WHEN ON ANY OTHER VENTRILO SERVER AS YOU ARE THE FACE AND REPUTATION OF THE GUILD. FAILURE TO DO SO COULD END UP WITH CONSEQUENCES. |

Change is on the way.

We have had an officer's meeting and are hopefully going to become a lot more active in the guild for those that like to raid and for those that prefer the social aspect more.
There are assigned officers to help throughout the guild with different issues, though all officers should be able to answer any questions you have with regards to the guild, alliance or anything else.
We are hoping to strengthen Team Azure and Team Ginger, and also run a few more casual raids with a very relaxed atmosphere and no pressure to perform. Hopefully there will also be a Heroics night, where groups will bash a load of heroics for fun and badges. Possibly an old raid night, where the long forgotten raid zones will be visited for fun and achievements.
Keep an eye to the forum for the changes........ Though you may need to relearn your way around has there have been slight changes to the forums also.
